We appreciate your willingness to share your experience with us \u2014 the good and the challenging \u2014 so we can continue to provide a world-class experience.<\/span> Here are the main themes we heard:<\/span><\/p>\n Thank you for your understanding during a challenging season. Here are a few examples of what you told us:<\/em><\/p>\n “Fantastic concert, outstanding performances, incredible acoustics, helpful ticket booth changing our tickets.\u00a0 All-in-all a first-rate experience<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “I thoroughly love the Music Festival. We are new full-time residents of the area and consider this one of Boulder’s most outstanding experiences<\/strong>.”\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “Kudos on a perfect evening<\/strong>….. Gosh, I am glad to have you back!!!\u00a0 I am not alone…. the audience went nuts with applause!”<\/span><\/p>\n “I like the atmosphere<\/strong>, not stuffy and pretentious, very much what I want from an event in Boulder.”<\/span><\/p>\n “We have found the orchestra and guests artists to be over the top exceptional talents<\/strong>, enjoyable and mesmerizing. Peter Oundjian is so knowledgeable and shares his brilliance with attendees, making it an enjoyable and learning must moment. Thank you.”\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n We understand that parking is an issue on the Chautauqua campus, which was developed before modern cars were common. The HOP 2 Chautauqua shuttle is a very useful resource, but we hear you: information about the HOP could be more clear. We will be working with Chautauqua to define the HOP 2 Chautauqua information for the 2022 season and beyond.<\/p>\n The Colorado Music Festival and Chautauqua (box office) are separate organizations. While we at the Festival do not have oversight over Chautauqua’s ticketing platform, we do have ideas about how to further help you navigate their site. Will we be implementing several helpful features in the 2022 season, including useful videos, a help chat system, and a dedicated staff person who will be assisting with ticketing and subscription questions.<\/p>\n 2021 was a confusing “one-off” year; due to Covid, we implemented some subscription changes that (thankfully!) will not be continuing. In the 2022 season, we are also adding in a Festival staff person to be a point person in communicating with subscribers, which will increase the level of customer service that subscribers enjoy.<\/p>\n For the 2022 season, we will be returning to pre-Covid seat maps; in other words, changes to subscription seats that happened in 2021 were for one year only and will be erased.<\/p>\n We understand that the temperature and airflow within historic Chautauqua Auditorium can be finicky. We received similar feedback during our last in-person season (2019) and have already made some changes, including opening the sliding windows throughout the hall to the extent that safety allows. We hope your experience has already improved as a result of this change, and we will continue to work with Chautauqua to regulate temperature as best as we can.
