I bet you wish for a strong group of friends, a vibrant community, and a healthy family. If you have children like I do, I imagine you hope they will be confident, self-assured, and happy.<\/p>\n<p>But today\u2019s world doesn\u2019t make any of that easy. Life seems to be trending toward disconnected, isolated, and online.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The solution? Turn to art, especially music.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/coloradomusicfestival.org\/support\/#donate\">Your support<\/a> is a critical piece of the solution, too. With your help, we connect people, boost confidence, and inspire joy through music.<\/p>\n<p>I hear many stories about the impact that your support has on the community.<\/p>\n<p>Stella, a Festival volunteer, told me, \u201cIt\u2019s so special to have a concert experience and to be all together, united. That\u2019s something we need to hold onto in society. <strong>We can\u2019t let it slip away<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And a Center for Musical Arts parent recently shared a story about her young daughter Mae, who is very shy. <strong>Mae\u2019s music lessons have given her the confidence to perform during an upcoming recital.<\/strong> With practice and the support of her teacher and fellow students, she feels ready to take to the stage.<\/p>\n<p>One adult student, Stephanie, has been rebuilding her life after suffering a stroke. As a lifelong musician, the loss of music from the stroke was heartbreaking. Like learning to walk again, she had to relearn music.<\/p>\n<p>Two years ago, Stephanie and her husband connected with the Center\u2019s music therapist, Amanda Brigham. \u201cIt has been an important part of Stephanie\u2019s journey back to music,\u201d her husband says. I am happy to report that <strong>Stephanie has been making great progress and finding joy in music again.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/coloradomusicfestival.org\/support\/#donate\">Please consider joining our donor family today<\/a>.
