To our Boulder community and beyond:<\/span><\/h4>\n

We are heartbroken and horrified by the recent hate crime in our beloved city. Boulder is a place that thrives on compassion, creativity, and connection\u2014and this act of violence stands in direct opposition to everything we hold dear.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Colorado Music Festival and Center for Musical Arts, we believe that music is a force for unity, healing, and understanding. It brings people together across boundaries, fosters empathy, and reminds us of our shared humanity. In the face of senseless hatred and violence, we affirm our commitment to building a community rooted in peace, inclusion, and mutual respect.<\/span><\/p>\n

We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, this assault on the fabric of our community. Our hearts go out to all those affected by this attack\u2014the victims, their families and friends, and everyone in our city who is reeling from this act of cruelty. We stand in solidarity with you.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In times of darkness, music can be a source of light. We will continue to create space for people to come together, to listen, to feel, and to heal. As artists, educators, and neighbors, we pledge to use our platform not only to enrich lives through music but also to stand up against hate in all its forms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us grieve together. Let us care for one another. And let us never stop working toward a world where peace and harmony\u2014not violence and fear\u2014guide our path.<\/span><\/p>\n
